Europe at Your Fingertips

Pathways offers a virtual exploration of Europes past, present and future.

Players follow five People on a Journey through Europe. They can discover around 25 historical or political sites of Europes historical past.

The Player can discover them in 360° Mode and Explore the Map in Augmented reality.

Pathway also introduced you people to important European topics, such as climat change, freedom of speec, free movement, the Bologna Process, the Greek financial crisis, European institutions in Brussels and scientific cooperation.

My Tasks involved modeling, rigging and animation of the main characters, creating the cell shader we used for the characters and scenes. Also adjusting and optimizing the shader for the android version.

I also created a special shader and animation of the map and all other assets, the player or main characters interacted with.

One challenge was to work a pipeline where the Characters could animate while they are still in production and also being able to capture facial performance inependent of artists and possible changes in the Characterdesigns.
