Inside Tumucumaque is an immersive virtual reality experience that transports users into the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
Using advanced 3D animation and real-time rendering, the project allows participants to explore the vast ecosystem from the perspective of its wildlife.
From soaring with harpy eagles to crawling alongside goliath spiders, the experience offers a unique way to engage with nature.

The project aims to make environmental science more accessible and emotionally engaging by visualizing the perceptual abilities of various species.

Deep dive into to production
I was joining as the project formed. My tasks was to model, rig and animate all the animals up to the tiny details like the hair of a Goliath Spider.
For this project i also started scripting some small things in C# like raycasting for the frogs toes as they were hard to animate without some additional logic. The spider walk is also a procedural animationinvolving raycasts.
